But then my 100th post wouldn't be anything special 3:
But really there's no need for a new post. I'm practically dead on NG and I am EXTREMELY busy with life and stuff like that. At most I'll have small updates, so just editing this post will suffice. Making a whole new post just for a minor update seems redundant, and seeing as nobody visits my page anymore, it just makes it twice as redundant.
But don't you fear, the day that MF7 will be released a new post shall be made.
(So basically I'll be stuck at 99 posts forever :P)
Been waiting for MF7 for few years by now can't wait for it, BTW that quote is similar to Governor from Walking Dead show.
Haha nice, you got it! :3
Also I'm glad to see people still are excited. If I were you I would've forgotten it by now xP

Ah, nothin'. didn't know what to say so I figured I'd try out some pig latin.
Oh, butts. I get it now.
Yes :3 finally after many years. You will finish it :) I have good news too :) My madness hardstyle will be remaked in 2015 and after that i will make the second part :)
:O Omg I can't wait!
I'm very excited that you updated something. Newgrounds doesn't remind you when someone updates their post so I would usually come to check your post. really looking forward to MF7.
And yeah many epic animators have gone, but I think why madness is dying is because new animators are less rather than good animators go. Most of animators will stay here for about 2-5 years and then get busy at study, jobs, life, etc and post a leaving news.. anyway, I hope M:PN2 will help this to some extent...
Haha wow, I'm surprised that people actually care enough about my animations that they still check my posts ^_^
Thanks for that, it brightened up my day. And yes, all of that is true, and most of them leaving and moving on in their life was inevitable. Good luck with all your animations! You're a very good animator.
I'm not gone, and still look forward MF7. The series never truly dies, some people just lose interest over time.
You know what DID die though? My sudden burst of motivation to work on MF7 xD
Looks like the deadline is pushed even further, folks.
Finish Flageration 7 you dopey fuck.
Uggghhhh no motivation thooouggghhhh
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/650485 I think you will like this :)
It was pretty good, although the animation could be a bit smoother. However I will say it's easily better than anything I could do relating to full body madness xP
Also happy holidays!
Hah, I sent you wrong link :D I wanted to send you my animation.. but looks like you found it by yourself :) thanks for your review man :) happy holidays,, but now get back to work and finish flag 7 >:-D
No problem! Happy new year to you too! You're always a great inspiration to me. And I will finish Flag7 one day :3

Yup.
GYAAAAH!!!
Totally.
100th comment!
Congratulations my good sir.

Nothing much besides me being really busy despite being in a collab which is just fantastic. You?
I'm pleased by your response. Look forward to a PM from me.
A'ight fam.
I just noticed that MF1 wasn't that much violent and brutal, but slowly in each episode it becomes more brutal, AND THEN THIS!
Yup. It's a shame it probably won't be released honestly.
It won't be released!? Come on! Even if this takes a while to complete, YOU MUST SUBMIT WHEN FINISHED!!
I know, I'm sorry lol! I tried animating recently for some school projects and oh my god, it's like not only did I lose all passion for animation but I somehow gained a great hatred towards it. Plus, it's like I lost all of my "skill" (if you could call shitty animated heads skill xP). Every year though since 2012 (when I posted this) I do get a craving to animate again and I get inspired when I watch my old animations. Then I animate for like a day, it usually turns out to be shit, and I get lazy and don't touch it again for a year.
I don't know what I'm ranting about at this point but the point is: It's unlikely that it will get finished, and if it ever does it won't be soon. And if it won't be soon, will there honestly be anyone around that even cares? Madness has dropped in popularity so much (at least in my perspective). I'm actually surprised you're still around and I really respect that you're still going at it and encouraging others to animate. But you seem to have been really active, is the community as dead as it seems?
I hope to one day have MF7 finished, even if it's for a handful of people to appreciate (or if it turns out to suck ass, then for a handful of people to hate :P). It's just that I have no desire to do it at all. I've moved past this site and animation and all that, and so has seemingly everyone else. It really feels like the whole madness and newgrounds thing was a completely different era in my life. And it's not like before where I would occasionally say "I've lost all motivation" but then I'd get it back in a month or two. I've done that countless times. This time it feels real.
And here I am ranting again, haha. I guess I just needed to get that off my chest, sorry.
I'll probably watch if you do submit. Lots of people have in fact vanished, but yes I'm still around (so are people like Gabriel Barsch and Spaderz) and I may have been less active since 2013 than I was before, but never left this site completely. Other great animators like Gibb50 and Kelzad have arisen in recent years, so the community hasn't so much "died" as it has exchanged members. My offline obligations from that point started taking up much more time than before. It also cost me lots of animation time, but I still have managed to at least submit every Madness Day. I do understand what you mean on your more active days being a different era altogether. As for any popularity madness may have lost, that's probably due to Krinkels not posting any submissions since Incident:1000A. Project Nexus 2 and MC11 will surely go big when released.
Let's hope so. If this community gets revived that would be amazing because it seriously was a great community back in the day with so much talent and so many classic animations that will be engraved into my memory until the day I die. It really was something special. Maybe it's just nostalgia but I can't even explain how excited I was to just look at the madness series page everyday to see if there was a new tribute or collab out. Even if the community is entirely new people I'll still be happy.
Oh, and another thing I forgot to mention regarding MF7 that has seriously drained my motivation. I somehow either accidentally deleted an entire scene (or it got corrupted, I don't remember) but I still had the .swf. So I used swivel to convert it into a video and so from then on I realized that I needed to basically submit the entire project as an actual video, not a .swf file. This really pissed me off and de-motivated me, especially because I had a main menu and everything and I was actually proud that my basic ass actionscript skills actually worked. It also had things like "the story so far" because honestly I did a pretty poor job of constructing an actual story and I can see how anyone who isn't me could watch the series and still have no idea what is going on (then again, the same is true for most tributes and even the main madness series itself lol).
But yeah, along with that came a lot of other problems and I was just like "Ugh, this is too much work and stress" and that has absolutely tanked any desire to animate it. Like for example there are things in the scene I want to change but I can't because it's a video file. I feel like I just want to start the entire project over at this point but obviously I really don't want to. It's not like I'm even that far into the project or anything (it's still pretty short) but I just really don't want to waste my time doing that.
Sorry for all the rants lol. Hopefully you can see where I'm coming from though from these past two responses of mine for why I'm not working on MF7 and why it may never be released. I once again thank you for encouraging me though :) You've been a really good friend for a long time on here even if I was an asshole the first time we conversed (at least that's what I recall happening).
Losing a scene sucks ass. I lost the first edition of MH2 altogether back in 2009 when my computer somehow got some really bad virus and had to start from scratch. However, what I ended up completing and submitting the next year was substantially better. MH3 is taking much longer than I originally thought it would, but I'm still going at it. I'm happy to help others out too. Just remember that if you do resume work, it is possible to make something better than before.
Thanks man, this definitely motivated me :)
